Clean, Lean Protein Bars
Serves: 4 Prep Time: 5 Min Cook Time: 15-20 Min Total Time: 20 Min
Ingredients:
1 cup of oats
2 Scoops of protein powder of choice (chocolate is best but vanilla works too)
3 Tbs of organic unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp of baking soda
8oz of organic prune & apple baby food (apple and blueberry works too)
2/3 cup of egg whites**
2-4 Tbs of water
Directions:
In a food processor or high powered blender add all try ingredients and blend to make flour.
Pour dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and add in baby food, egg whites and water and mix until a batter forms.
Pour batter into a greased 8x8 baking dish.
Bake at 350˚F for 15-20 minutes or until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Cut into 4 equal squares or 8 bars. One serving is 1 large square or 2 bars.
