Ingredients For The Salad:

  • 1 lb of lean ground beef or lean ground chicken

  • 3 hearts of romaine

  • 1/2 purple onion, sliced

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced into quarters

  • 2 medium to large sweet potatoes

  • Dill Pickles

Ingredients For The Special Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup whole 30 approved mayo

  • 2 Tbs whole 30 compliant ketchup

  • 1 Tbs coconut aminos

  • 1 Tbs dill pickle juice

  • 2 tsp dired minced onion

  • pinch of red pepper

  • pinch of sea salt

Directions:

  1. Start chopping your sweet potatoes up into half inch cubes. Add to a large ziplock bag and with 1 - 2 Tbs of olive oil and shake to coat. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Roast in your air fryer at 425˚F for 14 minutes or bake at 425˚F in oven for 25 minutes.

  2. While your sweet potatoes are cooking, Make your hamburger meat. Season your meat with desired hamburger seasoning. I used montreal steak seasoning in this recipe but any seasoning works as long as it’s whole 30 approved.

  3. Cook your meat in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Cook exactly like you would taco meat. Once fully cooked, set aside to cool.

  4. Next you’re going to chop your veggies as desired (see above recipe video for further instruction).

  5. Finally, mix all of the special sauce ingredients together in a small mason jar.

  6. Build your salad as desired and enjoy!
