Cocoa Mocha Protein Donuts
Servings: 12 Prep Time: 10 min Cook Time: 15 min Total Time: 25 min
Ingredients for the Donuts:
1/8 cup of pure maple syrup
1 cup of creamy almond butter
1 large sweet potato steamed and mashed (about 1 cup)
1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 flax egg (1 Tbs of ground flax seed + 2 Tbs of water. Let sit for 5 minutes)
2 scoops of Ora Organic Protein Powder in Chocolate (use code MMW10 at checkout to save)

1 Tbs of espresso powder
1 Tbs of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp of baking soda
Ingredients For the Protein Glaze:
1 scoop of Ora Organic’s Chocolate Protein Powder
1 Tbs of cocoa powder
2 Tbs of espresso powder
1/4-1/2 cup of pure maple syrup
Directions for the Donuts:
In a large bowl combine maple syrup, almond butter, sweet potato until smooth and creamy. Add in flax egg and almond milk. Combine remaining ingredients in a second bowl. Add the dry ingredients mixture into the wet ingredients until a batter is formed. Once the batter is mixed together place it into a pipping bag or a large ziplock bag. Cut the tip off and squeeze batter into a greased standard size donut mold (buy mine here). Bake in a 350˚F oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before glazing.
Directions for the Glaze:
Mix all the glaze ingredients into a bowl. Frost each donut with the glaze and enjoy.
