Chicken Noodle-less Detox Soup

Makes 6 servings    Prep Time: 5 min    Cook Time: 30 min    Total Time: 35 min

Ingredients:

2 Tbs of olive oil

3 chicken breasts cooked & shredded

3 organic carrots chopped

3 stalks of celery chopped

1 small onion chopped

2 tsp of grated fresh ginger

2 tsp of fresh rosemary minced

2 tsp of fresh thyme minced

2 tsp of fresh sage minced

1 Tbs of minced garlic minced

26 oz of bone broth (chicken)*

1 bunch of dinosaur kale chopped

salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

In a large soup pot add 2 Tbs of olive oil and turn stovetop to medium high heat. Add the carrots, onions and celery to the pot and stir to combine. Add in ginger, garlic, rosemary, thyme and sage, stir to combine. Cook all ingredients until herbs are fragrant and carrots are softened. Add in shredded chicken and combine with other ingredients. Add in bone broth and allow it to simmer. Once simmering add in kale and continue to simmer for 20 minutes. Serve immediately or store in  the fridge for up to a week.

NOTES:

*I used Perfect Supplements powdered bone broth. I combined 5 scoops with 26 oz of water.

**If the soup comes out too salty just add a few cups of filtered water to leasen the salt taste.
